The car you are driving can be easily transformed into a lethal weapon. Its wide usage and speed make it even more dangerous. BE CAREFUL!
- Always wear your seatbelt. It is required by law and it SAVES LIVES. The law for the seat belts has been applied since 1987 and it requires that driver and passengers must all wear seat belts (children under the age of five are prohibited from seating in the front seat).
- Always wear your helmet. Motorcyclists face more dangers because they have only two wheels. Motorcycles provide no security. Therefore DRIVE CAREFULLY AND IN FOCUS
- If you drink don’t drive. Alcohol reduces the ability and readiness and puts in danger you life and the lives of others. (A large quantity of alcohol which was consumed late at night will take until the noon of next day to be fully disposed by your body)
- Be patient when driving, with no nerves or stress, always conforming to the driving rules so that you reach your destination safe.
- Always keep your distance from the vehicle in front so that you can safely stop if needed.
- Be well behaved in the streets. Back down if others behave inappropriately.
- The driver must have increased road perception. He or she must be able to foresee events in order to avoid accidents.
BE AWARE of the actions of other drivers and pedestrians using the roads. - Speed kills.
- Dangerous overtaking kills.
- 95% of road accidents are due to human factor. It is up to us to apply the above advices and behave correctly in the roads.
